(STEP 1) Read the rest of the chapters on The Cave Painters. Take notes on the insights that we gather about the culture of these first humans. Why did they make this art? How does this art give us an insight into the lives of the early humans?
(STEP 2) Go to Lascoux Cave web-site and click on "Learn" and then click on some of the links to explore details about the cave. (STEP 3) Go to the Lascoux Cave web-site and click on "Discover". Take the "virtual visit." Explore the cave and try and identify aspects of the cave that you read about in The Cave Painters.
(STEP 4) Select one of the paintings in the cave and creat an
Art Annotation. An Art Annotation is when you write an analysis of an artwork. Look here at an example of an Art Annotation. 3-5 Annotations are expected.
